Wings Of Eagles
Frank 'Spig' Wead, a U.S. Navy pilot, is known for his adventurous and lively nature, as well as his unwavering support for Naval aviation. His commitment to promoting the Navy's flying program is so strong that it takes a toll on his marriage and family life. After an accident leaves him paralyzed, Spig discovers a new outlet for his passion for flying: writing screenplays. His success in this new pursuit earns him acclaim, but he is unable to resist the call to serve in World War II when the United States enters the conflict.
Despite his paralysis, Spig pleads to be reinstated in the Navy, feeling a deep desire to make a significant contribution. He discovers that he still has much to offer and is determined to do his part for his country.
